But when she ends up back home before midnight, will she realize that she just can't hang with her girls like she used to when she was single? Meanwhile, Bill helps Giuliana's nieces start a business making and selling friendship bracelets. He wants to show them the value of hard work, but will he end up robbing them of all the fun?

Giuliana and Bill are used to being a bi-coastal couple, but Giuliana knows that Bill hates being in Los Angeles and would much rather be spending his time in Chicago. So she makes it her mission to get Bill to love L. When Bill isn't impressed, Giuliana even takes him to see a spiritual advisor. Meanwhile, when Giuliana's assistant Matthew goes away on vacation, she ends up loving her temp and considers replacing him permanently.

Giuliana grew up in a big Italian family with regular Sunday dinners. She is used to her mom making extravagant meals and she wants to start some culinary traditions of her own. The only problem is she doesn't know how to cook!

Tired of eating take out, Bill encourages Giuliana to try cooking one of her mom's favorite dishes--but she doesn't realize how complicated cooking can be! Giuliana decides to take a cooking class, but will that prepare her to cater to a dinner party of ten people? Meanwhile, Bill tries to find an activity that he and Giuliana can do together as a couple. Bill is turning 38 and he's stressing about getting older.

Giuliana tries to lift his spirits by switching things up, including a hip new haircut and wardrobe and a workout session with celebrity trainer Gunnar Peterson. She even tries to get him to do Botox! Bill just wants to let his birthday pass and enjoy a low-key evening with his wife at home, but Giuliana has other plans and wants to throw him a big surprise party in Chicago. Giuliana has been feeling sluggish and wants to boost her energy, so she decides to try the Master Cleanse for ten days.

But after only eight hours, she breaks the cleanse and realizes she needs to go a different route. She tricks her assistant Matthew to go with her to a detox spa for the weekend--complete with a liquid-only diet and colonics! Will they be able to survive 48 hours without solid food?

Meanwhile, Bill and some of his Chicago buddies head to Vegas for a fun-filled boys' weekend. After attempting to legally change her last name to Rancic, Giuliana learns the Italian marriage certificate she and Bill have isn't valid in America, so they need to get legally married in the United States.

Bill suggests they just go down to the courthouse to get it done, but Giuliana looks at it as an opportunity to do things she wasn't able to do the first time they got married. With the help of her assistant Matthew, Giuliana plans a lavish second wedding in Chicago but it ends up causing a lot of conflict between her and Bill who wants a very simple ceremony.

User reviews 8 Review. Top review. My take on this show. Hi, My husband hates the "stupid" real housewives, Kardashians, Jersey Shore, etc. I enjoy it. I think they are a sweet couple; normal, and hopefully won't do actions on TV just for ratings.
