Can i use turtle beach x12 on pc

If you're still experiencing the same problem, the headset cable may be damaged or defective in some way, and your best bet in that case is to contact Turtle Beach. There is one other thing you can do: Connect a two-prong adapter to your Xbox 's power cable and see if you still experience the problem. Also my mic does not work either. Is the amp not receiving power?

Please respond. I have barely had them for a month. When I plug this in to my xbox using the correct component setup I get a very small amount of sound or no sound at all. When I hook up my mic to my PC, for some reason a problem occurs that I can't find a solution for on the internet. When I plug it in, with all the cables, the sound comes through for a second, then it dies and no sound comes out.

When I then unplug it, no sound comes out of the computer until I shut it off and turn it back on. The mic won't work either, again, until I turn off my PC.

I don't know what causes this, and I need help, please respond. Do you get any sound if you don't put pressure on the wire? If you do and that sound is normal, I'd just let it be.

Just because the wiring looks doesn't mean there's not a problem, and taking that piece apart may have made matters worse. You could try plugging the headset in to an iPod, other MP3 player or TV to see what kind of audio you get.

I suspect this is a case where you'll need to contact Turtle Beach and cross your fingers you're still under some kind of manufacturer's warranty. Also, check the cable for damage. I have a buddy who ran over his all of the time with a rolling chair he sat in that messed up his headset over time. My wiring is messed up in my x12's. If i put pressure on the end of the wire going in to the control box thing, it will fade in and fade out.

I'm not sure what else is going on but i really do not want to spend money on a new headset. It sounds silly, but make sure the cables associated with the X12 headset are all connected to the correct matching-colored inputs. In your case, if you plugged the white audio cable into the wrong connector, such as the yellow video jack, you won't hear any audio. Additionally, try connecting the headset to a computer and see what kind of audio you get.

If you experience the same problem, your headset has a larger issue, but if you don't, reconnect the headset to your gaming console and make sure that all of the cables are firmly connected to the connectors.
